June 24th, 2023 BBQ Catered Event at the Flugel Farm in Deer Park

May 16th, 2023

Hello from the Northwest Sportsman’s Club Fundraising committee. This June marks 15 years that the Northwest Sportsmans Club had been a non-profit in the Spokane area.

As the years have passed, we have enjoyed our fundraiser at many venues. We have gone the casual route, the fancy route and now we have found a lot of pleasure in the family route. We will be having our Catered BBQ Event with our annual Track Chair giveaway at the Flugel Farms in Deer Park in their field under tents and enjoy a BBQ meal.

After COVID hit, we decided to scale back a bit in our fundraising area. I think this year we have a comfortable amount of auction items as well as a professional auctioneer.
It is our pleasure to invite you, your family, and your friends to join us on Saturday June 24th, 2023, for our Catered BBQ Event. We will be having “Bucket Raffles”, “Dessert Auction”, “Firearm Raffles”, “Live Track Chair Auction”, and a “Live Auction”. New this year is a “Liquor Lane Raffle” that has a selection of Fine Bourbon Whiskey and Canadian Whiskey.

I am including a list of commercial donors to date. This list is not complete, but hopefully something here will encourage you to join us for an afternoon BBQ, share some time with friends and family. Enjoy seeing what the Northwest Sportsmans Club is all about. The highlight for many of us is the gifting of two chairs to the recipients of our 2022 Track Chair Campaign.

Commercial Donors as of this printing are the following: Avista Foundation, Belknap Fishing, Buck Knives, Cabela’s, CDA Casino, Gonzaga University Men’s and Women’s Athletic Dept., Kalispel Tribe of Indians Casino, Latah Creek Cellars, Otis Technologies, Pacific Salmon Charters, Perrenoud Roofing, Spokane Chiefs Hockey, Spokane Indians Baseball, Triple Play Family Fun Park, and Twigs Restaurant.

We are still accepting donations, just complete the form included in this mailer. It is now time to send in your reservations. We will not turn anyone away, the more the merrier. To those that have already sent in your reservation money, thank you so much.
We are having a 2023 Polaris Ranger 1000 Premium EPS ATV in white that will be drawn at this event. If you are not able to attend, you do not need to be present to win. Only 500 tickets will be sold, the raffle tickets are $100.00 each. Those ticket sales are on the reservation form.

Our Caterer is JJ Tap & Smokehouse from Spokane. The menu is set for this: Beef Brisket, Pulled Smoked Pork, BBQ Beans, Caesar Salad, Macaroni & Cheese, and fresh rolls. We are having our guests purchase a $10. wrist band for unlimited beer and or wine. The beer this year is from Masters Brewhouse. We will be having Beaver Blond Ale and a Hazy IPA. The wine is from Saviah Cellars in Walla Walla. It will be the House wine JACK in white and red. Water will be available. (If you would prefer something else to drink than what we are offering, feel free to bring a cooler of non- alcoholic refreshments)

I encourage you to look at our website. We have enjoyed supporting the local youth shooting teams that ask for financial support. We continue to support our disabled sportsman in an annual shooting event. We are moving forward with supporting our veterans in the community with help in projects that are asked of us. Our WA. State Hunter Education classes will be slowly moving forward after the extremely strict guidelines.

Any questions, please ask. We look forward to seeing everyone under our beautiful tents in June.
