February 8th 2020 @ the Davenport Grand Hotel

Happy New Year to the NWSC members and friends.

We are getting closer to our fundraiser evening every day! It is hard to believe that we are almost 40 days away from our one fundraiser per year.

If you are out and about and see something that you think might be a good addition to our fundraiser- the sales after Christmas are everywhere. Our committee is always looking for new and exciting additions to our raffles and silent auction. Many times a less expensive item is added to our live auction items to make a great package. If you have already contributed to our fundraiser items and have purchased your tickets, thank you very much for taking care of that early.

Currently we have two pre event raffle tickets available. One is our 5 gun raffle- 500 tickets will be sold at $20 each. The other is a cash prize of $1,000 . 200 tickets will be sold at $10.00. For both of those, you do not need to be present to win. Contact any board member for a ticket, or contact Theresa at this email and she will sell you how every many you want to buy.

Soon we will be announcing our "Flag Raffle" firearm raffle sale. I have it on great authority that these two firearms are AMAZING!! Stay tuned for photos and information on those very soon. For those tickets you must be present to win.

Several folks have already purchased their tables and or tickets. If you are planning on attending, it is extremely helpful to get your reservations in early. Likewise with your donations and raffle purchases.

The menu has been set- once again this year the Davenport Grand is serving a buffet meal of roasted chicken breast, port wine braised beef and 2 carving stations of glazed ham. We will have our dessert auction as well. If you are planning on donating to the Dessert Auction- we will need approximately 9-11 desserts. Tamara Barron is organizing that portion of our evening. You can send her your complete description at: kevin.r.barron@comcast.net

A couple clarifications:
5 gun raffle ticket firearms. All WA State laws apply. One of the firearms requires that you complete the WA I- 1639 training. It is an online certification. The local Sportsman's Warehouse gun counter can direct you to the website to complete the course. All 6 of the firearms in the 5- gun raffle ticket were purchased at Sportsman's Warehouse. As a winner of that ticket, you will be given a gift card from the Sportsman's Warehouse- you can either go shopping for anything in the store with the price of the gun that NWSC paid, or you can take the gift card and pick up the gun that was offered in the raffle ticket.

I will continue to share all updates as we get closer to Feb. 8th, 2020. Any questions, please ask.
