Washington wolf population continues to expand, although there maybe a slight drop as hunting seasons open and frustrated hunters again find more wolf tracks than ungulate tracks. Idaho has different values. Wolf tags are cheap. You can even get paid up to a thousand dollars for killing one, and you can keep the hide also.

Texas applications for Guided gemsbok, Guided scimitar horned oryx, National refuge exotic, are due October 15th.
The Guided hunts are at Mason Mountain. They take care of about everything except the shooting. They feed you well. You stay in a nice lodge. They show you animals, and after you shoot, they field dress and hang and skin the animal. The only drawback is that you are on your own. You can’t take your wife or buddy along.
The national refuge exotic hunts are easier to draw. The ones of interest are the opportunities to harvest nilgai. A bit far away, but a lot closer than India.
Big Time Texas Hunt raffles close October 15th.
I have noticed that every one of the previous hunt raffles that I have checked has far more tickets sold this year than in previous years, and I am sure Texas will be that way also. The virus is keeping us out of bars and restaurants, so I guess we have more to spend on hunts.
Texas offers 10 different raffle categories. Tickets online are $9.00 each, and you can buy as many as think you can afford.
Texas applications for Guided Bighorn are due November 1st
These are Desert bighorns, and Texas has a lot of them. Texas is mostly private land, and the landowner is king, so very few tags are available that you don’t have to pay dearly for. This one, the raffle above, and an occasional different raffle are the only ones that I know of.
Wyoming applications for points are due by November 2nd
